Hi All, My question is Community-powered support for Alesis. Today Mudi tried to use an external midi keyboard to work through the Alesis and I had nothing but problems and random occasional midi notes whenever I used the keyboard.

I can record from my keyboard via the cable input on my usb from the headphone output from my keyboard using an AUDIO track--and yes I think the other issues you mentioned about the keyboard allowing data to pass thru imdi to be researched.

Okay, so what's the next step. I'm using a Alesis USB interface And if you can tell us what that is and how you have your keyboard connected to it, ik2 might help.

Are you sure that you are recording to a midi track? I also have my interface connected to a mixer and that's connected to my stereo system.
